Brothers & Sisters “You get what you need”
Brothers and Sisters, ABC TV series, Sundays
Honestly, I’m a little skeeved out by the Justin and Rebecca union. The genesis of their romantic relationship went a little something like this:
Justin: You’re not my sister?
Rebecca: Nope. I just got the DNA results.
Justin: Wanna make out?
Rebecca: Totally.
In this episode the skeeve factor rocketed as Justin and his ex-sister did the deed. Ick. I also find it annoying that Rebecca refuses to use her $2 mil trust fund that Holly participated in adultery for. And, didn’t she want to be a photographer? It seems like all she does is obsess over the Walkers and her conniving mother. Get a hobby, homegirl.
Holly’s stilted speech pattern drives me nuts. She’s like a female Shatner, except she’s not in on the joke.
Scotty’s uber-conservative parents come to town and wreak havoc on Kevin’s nerves. Bertha is quite the harpy, complaining about everything. It was interesting to see Scotty be the one to request a step back in the closet, seeing as he’s normally insistent upon being out and proud. I find Kevin and Scotty to be too adorable for words. Scotty’s Canadian accent is totally endearing (even though he’s supposed to be from Iowa or something).
Kevin working for Robert should stir things up. Maybe Kitty will be relevant in the show again.
”I hate humility. It disgusts me.”
-Dude in Kevin’s office.
