Preston, too pretty to play with others, shared some depressing stuff with us this week. His unending seriousness makes more sense now. However, I would guess that he has never been the life of the party.

 

 Nathan, Eddie, and Ondine got trashed to celebrate Eddie’s b-day. For some reason, Nathan decided that it was a good time to don head-to-toe spandex, an afro wig with attached headscarf, and heels. It would have been nice if he’d saved a little crazy for his design, which was dull in spite of the pitcher of giant phallic nails.

 

 Preston’s design was cool but needed artwork rather than ugly dinnerware on the walls. I want Ondine’s wallpaper.

 

Is it just me or does Eddie always dress like James Spader in Pretty in Pink? Polo shirts in pastel colors, popped collar. For judging he got out his best bow tie, checked tweed sports coat, and leather moccasins. It was not enough to save him, though, and he was sent back to styling rooms for octogenarians.

 

 The judges were entertaining this week. Jeff Lewis exasperated Margaret (which was more than enjoyable) and Jonathan wore bright orange pants.
